Between August 31 and September 7, 2012, I drove from Irvine, CA to Washington, DC. Taking a longish Southern route, I passed through Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky, among other states.
This is a blog of photos and writings from that drive.
The trip turned out to be greatly (and pleasantly) an odyssey of barbecue and fried chicken. For quick reference:
